AEW has added two more matches to the September 16 edition of Dynamite, with Jamie Hayter stepping into singles action against Lena Kross and an eight-man tag team match bringing together Darby Allin, Steven Borden, Christian Cage, Adam Copeland, FTR, Kevin Knight, and Kyle Fletcher.
The announcements significantly expand a card that already includes Chris Jericho against Nick Wayne and a six-man tag featuring Will Ospreay, Andrade El Idolo, and Francesco Akira against the Death Riders trio of Jon Moxley, PAC, and Gabe Kidd.
Hayter’s match with Kross is particularly notable because it arrives immediately before a high-stakes Women’s Tag Team Championship showdown. Hayter and Alex Windsor, known as The Brawling Birds, are scheduled to defend their titles against Kross and Megan Bayne, known as The Divine Dominion, in a Chicago Street Fight at AEW All Out.

That title match gives Wednesday’s singles meeting an obvious layer of importance. Jamie Hayter and Lena Kross meet before All Out

Allin, Cage, and Copeland bring their own prominent histories to the match, while Steven Borden joins them against an opposing team led by the highly accomplished FTR pairing. Knight and Fletcher round out FTR’s side, creating a match with a wide range of styles and a substantial amount of star power.
FTR will once again be represented by Harwood and Wheeler, one of wrestling’s most established tandems. The newest additions join a card that was already built around multiple notable matches. Jon Moxley, PAC, and Gabe Kidd will represent the Death Riders against the team of Will Ospreay, Andrade El Idolo, and Francesco Akira.
That six-man tag places three major individual talents opposite the Death Riders group. Ospreay, Andrade, and Akira will need to coordinate against a trio composed of Moxley, PAC, and Kidd, all of whom are listed under the Death Riders banner for the match.
The contest adds another multi-person battle to a show that now features both six-man and eight-man tag action. Those bouts ensure that the September 16 episode will have a heavy emphasis on alliances, team chemistry, and the challenge of keeping order when several wrestlers are competing at once.
As announced, the match is straightforward in format: Ospreay, Andrade, and Akira against Moxley, PAC, and Kidd. No special stipulation has been listed for the bout.
Chris Jericho faces Nick Wayne
Elsewhere on the card, Chris Jericho is scheduled to go one-on-one with Nick Wayne. The bout stands as the other announced singles match alongside Hayter versus Kross, giving the episode individual contests in addition to its larger tag team attractions.
Jericho and Wayne will enter the match with the spotlight squarely on their one-on-one encounter.
