Sources readers can inspect

Historical outcomes, event dates and television guidance should be supported by linked sources. For the launch archive, official promotion results and broadcaster information are the factual starting points. A promotion's account is useful evidence of its announced result; its promotional language is not automatically an independent assessment.

We distinguish the date an event happened from the date a recap was published. We preserve match conditions when they affect the result and avoid inventing a finish that a source does not establish. Selective match totals are labeled as matches indexed, never complete career records or official standings.

Reporting, history and opinion

Analysis explains our interpretation of a match or story. It should not imply that we know a performer's private motives. Historical features describe past events rather than presenting old results as breaking news. Rumor, speculation and unconfirmed information must not be stated as verified fact.

We do not claim original interviews, ringside attendance, confidential sources or backstage access unless that work actually occurred. Articles identify their authors, and our contributor profiles introduce the people behind the published work. A byline does not imply firsthand reporting; the article's sources and disclosures describe how it was prepared.

AI assistance

The launch edition was prepared with AI assistance and checks against primary sources. AI output is not itself evidence. Dates, results, attribution and other factual claims require source checking, and generated text must not invent quotations, reporting activity or credentials. The site operator remains responsible for published material and corrections.

Long-form wrestler biographies are AI-assisted and link to the sources supporting their paragraphs. An automated research pass and a separate source-checking pass must both succeed before publication. Thin research, uncertain identities and unsupported claims are held for review instead of being padded to a word target. These checks reduce errors but are not a guarantee of accuracy or a claim of human review. Existing short profiles remain available while biographies are researched.

Our daily evergreen workflow selects under-covered subjects for educational and historical guides, distinct from the news feed. It researches a source-backed brief, prepares original prose, and runs a separate automated factual review before publication. These guides disclose AI assistance, include supporting links, and are held when evidence, originality or minimum substantive length checks fail. Automated checks are not human editorial review and cannot guarantee accuracy; please use our correction process if you spot an error.

Independence and commercial relationships

SmackDownOnYou is unaffiliated with WWE, AEW and other promotions. A source link or licensed photograph does not imply endorsement. Paid placements, sponsorships and affiliate relationships should be labeled where they appear. Advertising availability does not determine a wrestler's result or a factual correction.

Images and sensitive material

Image credits identify the creator, source and license when known. Some wrestler portraits are sourced from WrestlingProfiles with attribution; the original owner retains rights and the reuse license has not been verified. Attribution does not establish permission, and an unknown license is not presented as a verified one. A portrait used to illustrate a historical feature should not be described as a photograph of that match. Generated illustrations should be identified as illustrations. Corrections and reader feedback

We review specific, evidence-backed correction requests and change factual errors when confirmed. Material changes should include a visible correction note and an updated date; ordinary spelling or formatting fixes do not require a new story. Read our corrections policy or send a correction.
