Christyan XO is still early in her professional wrestling career, but she has already found herself aligned with one of Ring of Honor’s most recognizable groups in Shane Taylor Promotions.
The faction currently includes Shane Taylor, ROH Men’s Pure Champion Lee Moriarty, Trish Adora, Cpt. Shawn Dawn, Carlie Bravo, and Christyan XO. As the newest addition to that lineup, Christyan has had an opportunity to work around an established collection of performers while continuing to build her own presence in the AEW/ROH orbit.
During a virtual signing with Captain’s Corner, Christyan discussed the path that brought her to AEW and ROH. She explained that her initial contact came through extra work last December, which later led to additional opportunities.
“Last December, I did some extra work with them… So, they offered me a few times after I did extra work and yeah, it was pretty awesome.”

For a wrestler who only began her in-ring career in 2024, the experience represents a meaningful early step. Extra work can place developing talent in a major-production environment, offering exposure to the demands of television tapings, locker-room routines, and the expectations that accompany national promotions. In Christyan’s case, those appearances opened the door to being brought back on multiple occasions.
When asked where she first worked in that capacity, Christyan recalled that her first extra-work appearance was likely in Virginia. She added that New York was where she received an offer.
“The first one was — I wanna say in Virginia — but where I got offered was in New York.”
Christyan’s comments underline the incremental nature of many wrestling careers. A performer can spend considerable time working independent events, training, networking, and taking every available opportunity before receiving a more regular opening with a larger company. There is no indication that she is treating that process as anything other than a chance to keep learning, particularly now that she is surrounded by experienced colleagues in Shane Taylor Promotions.
A Newest Member in an Established Unit
Shane Taylor Promotions has long been built around forceful personalities and a hard-edged presentation. Shane Taylor is the namesake and central figure, while Moriarty holds the ROH Men’s Pure Championship. Adora, Cpt. Shawn Dawn, and Carlie Bravo add further depth to the group, giving Christyan an immediate support system as she becomes more familiar to ROH audiences.
Christyan specifically spoke warmly about Bravo, describing both their working relationship and the comfort she feels in standing beside him as part of the faction. Her remarks made clear that the association is not simply a television alignment to her, but an environment in which she feels welcomed and guided.
“Amazing person. I love the opportunity to be able to work beside him. I wouldn’t wanna be standing beside anybody else… The whole group, all amazing people, and they make everything super fun, and they help guide me and help me these past couple of months so, amazing people. Very happy I’m with them.”
That kind of endorsement is especially notable given Christyan’s status as the newest member of the unit. Joining an established group can be a major platform for a newer wrestler, but it also requires finding chemistry with personalities who have already developed their own bonds and roles. Christyan’s comments suggest that transition has been made easier by the group’s willingness to provide encouragement and direction.
The importance of that guidance should not be understated for a performer still gaining experience at the national level. Wrestling is built on individual performance, but factions often create room for newer talent to develop with a clearer identity and a consistent set of allies. Christyan’s place alongside Shane Taylor Promotions gives her a visible connection within ROH while allowing her to learn from wrestlers with more established experience.
Trish Adora’s Support Has Stood Out
Christyan also highlighted her relationship with Trish Adora, whom she described as a sister-like figure. She said Adora has been someone she can lean on when nerves arise, while also praising the chance to share the wrestling environment with her.
“I love Trish as well. She always helps me out if I’m feeling nervous and stuff. Again, she’s like a sister to me. She’s amazing.”
Christyan continued by emphasizing how much she is learning from Adora and how grateful she is for the opportunity to work alongside her.
“I learn a lot from her and to be able to go out there with her, I’m very grateful. Amazing wrestler. I love Trish.”
Those comments point to a relationship that is significant both personally and professionally. Nerves are a natural part of performing in front of larger crowds and within a televised setting, particularly for a wrestler with only a few years of in-ring experience. Having a teammate who can offer reassurance is valuable, and Christyan made it clear that Adora has filled that role.
Adora’s presence also gives Christyan an accomplished wrestler to observe closely. While Christyan did not outline specific lessons or training methods, she directly stated that she learns a great deal from Adora. That willingness to learn has been a consistent theme in her remarks about Shane Taylor Promotions as a whole.
Building Experience in ROH and Maryland Championship Wrestling
Christyan began her in-ring career in 2024 and has regularly competed for Maryland Championship Wrestling. That work has provided the foundation for her development as she pursues additional opportunities in AEW and ROH.
Maryland Championship Wrestling has been a regular part of her wrestling schedule, while her ROH appearances have put her in a different spotlight alongside Shane Taylor Promotions. She most recently wrestled for Ring of Honor at a taping in April 2026.
At this stage, Christyan’s public comments are centered less on making broad declarations and more on gratitude for the people around her. She spoke positively about the chance created by her extra-work appearances, praised Bravo’s character, celebrated the guidance of the entire faction, and described Adora as a supportive and important presence.
That outlook fits the position she currently occupies. Christyan is a relatively recent entrant into professional wrestling who has earned opportunities to return to the AEW/ROH setting and has been incorporated into a group featuring an ROH champion and several established names. Her next steps will be shaped by continued ring time, the opportunities presented to her, and the experience she gains beside her Shane Taylor Promotions teammates.
For now, Christyan XO is clear about how she views the situation: she is happy to be part of the group, appreciative of the guidance she has received, and eager to continue learning. In a faction that combines Shane Taylor’s leadership, Moriarty’s championship status, Adora’s experience, and the contributions of Dawn and Bravo, she has found a notable place from which to continue her development.
Her journey from extra work last December to becoming the newest face associated with Shane Taylor Promotions is still unfolding. But Christyan’s reflections show that the opportunity has already given her more than appearances on a larger stage. It has also given her a circle of peers she trusts as she works to establish herself in ROH and beyond.
