TNA Wrestling has added one more pivotal segment to the October 8 edition of Thursday Night iMPACT, with Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside and Indi Hartwell scheduled to exchange final words before Bound For Glory.

The October 8 broadcast serves as TNA’s go-home show for Bound For Glory, which takes place on October 11. Brookside will put the Knockouts World Championship on the line against Hartwell at the pay-per-view, and the two competitors will meet on iMPACT just days before that showdown.

TNA promoted the segment as the pair’s final opportunity to address one another before the championship match. With the Knockouts World Title at stake at one of the company’s biggest events of the year, the face-to-face gives both Brookside and Hartwell a chance to establish the tone heading into the weekend.

“Xia Brookside and Indi Hartwell will exchange their final words Thursday at 9/8c on AMC, AMC+ and TNA+, and 8pm ET on Sportsnet 360 ahead of their TNA Bound For Glory Knockouts World Title showdown.”

A final stop before Bound For Glory

Go-home broadcasts often provide the last major platform for opponents to make their cases before a pay-per-view match, particularly when a championship is involved. That is the role Brookside and Hartwell’s segment will play on October 8.

Brookside enters the encounter as the reigning champion and therefore has the responsibility of protecting the title against a challenger arriving at a crucial moment. Hartwell, meanwhile, has the chance to use the segment to place additional pressure on the champion before they meet in the ring at Bound For Glory.

No physical confrontation or additional stipulation has been announced for the segment. The confirmed plan is for Brookside and Hartwell to exchange words ahead of their Knockouts World Championship match. Still, a direct meeting in the closing stretch before a title bout can be significant even without an announced in-ring angle. It puts the champion and challenger together while attention is firmly on the championship that will be decided on October 11.

For Brookside, the appearance is another opportunity to speak as champion in the final days before defending the Knockouts division’s top prize. For Hartwell, it is a chance to state her intentions clearly before attempting to leave Bound For Glory with the title.

October 8 iMPACT lineup takes shape

The Brookside-Hartwell segment joins a card that already includes two title matches, a multi-person tag bout with Call Your Shot Gauntlet implications, and a singles contest featuring K.C. Navarro and Fabian Aichner.

One championship bout will see M by Elegance defend the TNA Knockouts Television Championship against Elayna Black. The match places another Knockouts title in focus on the same show that Brookside and Hartwell make their final Bound For Glory statements.

The TNA World Tag Team Championship will also be on the line when the Nemeth Brothers, Ryan Nemeth and Nic Nemeth, defend against The Hardys, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy. The matchup brings together two established teams with the titles at the center of the contest.

Elsewhere, Elijah, Bear Bronson, Trey Miguel and Frankie Kazarian will team against A.J. Francis, Brian Myers, Home Town Man and Joe Alonzo in an eight-man tag team match. Avery Styles will accompany Kazarian’s side. The winning team will receive the advantage connected to the Call Your Shot Gauntlet, making the match consequential beyond a standard multi-person contest.

Navarro and Aichner round out the announced in-ring action in a singles match. Taken together, the bouts and the Brookside-Hartwell segment give TNA a lineup built around championships, momentum and the final developments before Bound For Glory.

The Knockouts World Title spotlight

The Knockouts World Championship exchange is particularly notable because it places TNA’s premier women’s title at the forefront of the go-home episode. While M by Elegance’s Knockouts Television Championship defense offers a separate title attraction, Brookside and Hartwell’s segment is directly tied to a major pay-per-view championship match.

The format also creates a different kind of anticipation from a traditional match. The champion and challenger will not settle anything in the ring on October 8; instead, their verbal confrontation is designed to add another layer to the title meeting still to come. Whatever is said on iMPACT will stand as the final public message from each woman before Bound For Glory.

Hartwell’s challenge represents a direct test for Brookside’s reign. Championships can define a competitor’s standing within a division, and successful defenses are central to a champion’s ability to maintain that position. At the same time, a challenger does not need to carry the burden of defending the title. Hartwell’s objective is straightforward: defeat Brookside at Bound For Glory and become Knockouts World Champion.

The October 8 segment will not decide the championship, but it can further frame the stakes around that objective. The closer the title match gets, the less room there is for either competitor to alter the situation before the bell rings on October 11.

Where to watch

Thursday Night iMPACT airs October 8 at 9/8c on AMC, AMC+ and TNA+. The program is also scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Sportsnet 360.

The show is the final televised stop before Bound For Glory on October 11. Brookside and Hartwell’s exchange of words will be one of the key segments to watch as TNA completes the build to their Knockouts World Championship encounter.

With two championships scheduled to be defended on iMPACT and the Knockouts World Title program receiving its last pre-pay-per-view spotlight, the October 8 episode has a clear purpose: set the final momentum, present the remaining stakes, and send TNA into Bound For Glory with its major stories in focus.
