New Japan Pro-Wrestling has set the complete lineup for TANAHASHI JAM 2, Hiroshi Tanahashi’s produced event scheduled for November 19 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The card brings together established NJPW names, outside guests, a championship match, a special attraction involving Tatsumi Fujinami, and two debut bouts.

The event is headlined by a six-man tag team match pitting Zack Sabre Jr., Kosei Fujita, and Sosuke Shoda against Ryohei Oiwa, Hartley Jackson, and Kaito Kiyomiya. The match puts a wide range of generations and styles into the top spot, with Sabre’s technical approach set alongside the younger Fujita and Shoda, while Oiwa’s team features the hard-hitting Jackson and Pro Wrestling NOAH standout Kiyomiya.

Also announced for the show is an NJPW WORLD TV Championship defense, as champion Shun Skywalker meets Toru Yano. Skywalker will enter as titleholder, while Yano brings his distinctive veteran style and an ability to turn nearly any situation into an unpredictable one. The championship match gives the TANAHASHI JAM 2 lineup a title bout in addition to its collection of special interpromotional and attraction-driven matches.

Sabre, Kiyomiya and Oiwa lead the main event

The main event centers on six competitors who represent very different corners of the current Japanese wrestling landscape. Zack Sabre Jr. has long been recognized for his intricate submission game and his ability to dictate the pace of a match through technical control. With Kosei Fujita and Sosuke Shoda beside him, Sabre’s side features younger wrestlers who will have a major opportunity in Korakuen Hall’s headline position.

Across the ring, Ryohei Oiwa continues to be paired with prominent names, and his partners ensure that this is not a conventional six-man tag. Hartley Jackson supplies physicality to the opposing side, while Kaito Kiyomiya’s presence makes the contest particularly notable. Kiyomiya has been one of the most prominent wrestlers associated with Pro Wrestling NOAH in recent years, and his involvement adds another major name to Tanahashi’s card.

The announced match does not come with a stipulated prize or championship on the line, but the personnel involved makes it a significant closing contest. Sabre and Kiyomiya are both established top-level singles competitors, while Oiwa, Fujita, and Shoda will have the chance to make an impression in a match containing several accomplished veterans and recognized stars.

Shun Skywalker defends the NJPW WORLD TV Championship

Shun Skywalker will put the NJPW WORLD TV Championship on the line against Toru Yano. The belt has been positioned around a distinct time-limit concept, and a defense on a special produced event gives Skywalker another high-profile platform as champion.

Yano is one of NJPW’s most experienced and unconventional competitors. A match with Yano can shift rapidly through escapes, shortcuts, ring awareness and opportunism, making him a markedly different challenger from someone who might seek to engage Skywalker in a more straightforward athletic contest. That contrast is central to the appeal of the announced title match.

Skywalker enters the bout with the advantage of being the reigning champion, but Yano’s longevity in NJPW and familiarity with high-pressure championship situations makes him a dangerous opponent. The November 19 result will determine whether Skywalker leaves Korakuen Hall with the title still in his possession or whether Yano adds another championship accomplishment to his extensive career.

Fujinami joins Uemura, Wolf and Takechi against HOUSE OF TORTURE

A special eight-man tag team match will see legendary wrestler Tatsumi Fujinami join Yuya Uemura, Aaron Wolf, and Kaisei Takechi against the HOUSE OF TORTURE unit of Ren Narita, SANADA, Yujiro Takahashi, and Yoshinobu Kanemaru.

Fujinami’s place on the show is one of the card’s clearest connections to the event’s celebratory, special-event identity. The veteran will team with a mix of NJPW talent and featured guests in Uemura, Wolf and Takechi. Their opponents are a seasoned HOUSE OF TORTURE lineup led by Narita and SANADA, with Takahashi and Kanemaru adding further experience to the group.

The match creates an immediate contrast between Fujinami’s team and a faction that has frequently embraced disruptive tactics. Uemura will be competing alongside one of Japanese wrestling’s most influential veterans, while Aaron Wolf and Kaisei Takechi are also placed in a prominent multi-man setting. For HOUSE OF TORTURE, the bout offers an opportunity to spoil one of the evening’s most distinctive attractions.

Tanahashi’s Monster Rambo Goto Revolutionary Army meets Taguchi Japan

Hiroshi Tanahashi has also assembled a specially named eight-man contest: Hiroshi Tanahashi Produced Monster Rambo Goto Revolutionary Army will face JUSTICE Taguchi Japan.

The Revolutionary Army consists of Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI, YOH, and Tatsuya Matsumoto. On the other side, Ryusuke Taguchi leads a unit featuring Yuji Nagata, Satoshi Kojima, and Togi Makabe. The bout is loaded with familiar NJPW faces and veteran presence, and its presentation fits the personality-driven format of a Tanahashi-produced card.

Goto, YOSHI-HASHI and YOH bring considerable tag-team and multi-man experience to their side, while Matsumoto joins them in a lineup carrying the event-specific Revolutionary Army name. Taguchi’s group counters with three highly accomplished veterans in Nagata, Kojima and Makabe. The result is a match that blends the lighthearted branding associated with Taguchi-led teams with a collection of wrestlers whose careers include major accomplishments in NJPW and beyond.

Tanahashi’s name being directly attached to the Revolutionary Army is also a reminder that TANAHASHI JAM is built around the former ace’s own selections and presentation. Rather than relying only on standard tour matchups, the event has been structured with unique team names, special guests and pairings not ordinarily seen on a typical card.

Shota Umino faces Axe Wang in a debut match

Shota Umino is scheduled to face Axe Wang, who will be making his wrestling debut. The match gives Wang a demanding first assignment against one of NJPW’s most visible contemporary wrestlers.

Debut matches often carry a different kind of attention from the rest of a card. The result matters, but so does the new wrestler’s ability to handle the setting, establish a ring presence and show the foundation of what could follow. Korakuen Hall is a storied venue for professional wrestling, and making a first appearance there opposite Umino gives Wang an immediate opportunity to perform in front of a knowledgeable audience.

Umino will enter with far more experience, placing the spotlight on how Axe Wang responds to a proven opponent. The bout is one of two debut-related matches announced for TANAHASHI JAM 2, giving the event an emphasis not only on established names but also on introducing new faces.

Shion Obata opens the event against Boltin Oleg

The opening match will feature another first-time wrestler, as amateur wrestler Shion Obata makes his professional wrestling debut against Boltin Oleg. Obata’s transition from amateur competition to the professional ring will begin in a singles match against an opponent with a powerful physical profile.

Opening a card can be an important responsibility, particularly at an event designed around an individual producer’s vision. Obata and Boltin Oleg will be tasked with setting the tone before the championship match, the special unit bout and the high-profile main event that follow. For Obata, the match represents the first official step of his wrestling career.

Boltin Oleg presents a formidable challenge for a debuting opponent. The announced matchup offers Obata the chance to demonstrate how his amateur wrestling background translates into the professional environment while contending with a wrestler known for strength and explosive offense.
