Unbound Co. competed in three of the night’s listed matches, including the featured closing bout. Masatora Yasuda Opens the Night With a Win

Masatora Yasuda defeated Taisei Nakahara in the opening singles match. The result gave Yasuda the first victory of the Road to Destruction tour’s opening night and put the focus immediately on two wrestlers looking to establish momentum during the series.

Singles bouts are not always the centerpiece of a tour-opening card, but the Yasuda-Nakahara match gave the Utsunomiya audience a direct one-on-one contest before the show shifted toward the larger team and faction bouts that filled the rest of the lineup.

HOUSE OF TORTURE Gets Past Desperado, Taguchi and Jado

HOUSE OF TORTURE’s DOUKI, SHO, and Dick Togo defeated El Desperado, Ryusuke Taguchi, and Jado. The six-man tag pitted a trio associated with disruptive tactics and close-knit faction coordination against a unit featuring one of NJPW’s most prominent junior heavyweight competitors in Desperado, alongside the veteran pairing of Taguchi and Jado.

The victory keeps DOUKI, SHO, and Togo on the right side of the results ledger as the Road to Destruction dates get underway. On a card featuring several multi-man contests, the match also reinforced that HOUSE OF TORTURE will remain an active force throughout the tour.

United Empire Appears in Multiple Matches

United Empire was involved in two separate bouts on the card. HENARE, Great-O-Khan, and Jakob Austin Young faced Shota Umino, YOSHI-HASHI, and Tatsuya Matsumoto in a six-man tag team match. A result for that match was not included among the listed results.

That omission leaves the outcome of the Umino, YOSHI-HASHI, and Matsumoto versus HENARE, Great-O-Khan, and Young match unconfirmed. What is clear is that the bout put Umino and YOSHI-HASHI alongside Matsumoto against a formidable United Empire lineup led by HENARE and Great-O-Khan.

Later in the evening, Callum Newman and Zane Jay represented United Empire against the Unbound Co. tandem of Jeff Cobb and Shingo Takagi. Cobb and Takagi won that contest, handing Unbound Co. its first documented victory of the show while stopping Newman and Jay from securing a win for United Empire.

Jeff Cobb and Shingo Takagi defeated Callum Newman and Zane Jay in one of the card’s most notable tag matches. The pairing of Cobb and Takagi brought together two powerful, high-profile wrestlers under the Unbound Co. banner, while Newman and Jay carried the United Empire side of the bout.

The win was particularly important given how prominently Unbound Co. was positioned throughout the night. The faction had competitors appearing in three matches, and Cobb and Takagi ensured that the group did not leave Utsunomiya without a victory.

For United Empire, the loss came in its second listed match of the night. The group still had HENARE, Great-O-Khan, and Jakob Austin Young in the earlier six-man encounter, though the available results did not specify the outcome of that contest.

Makabe, Yano and Kojima Defeat Yuto-Ice, OSKAR and Gedo

Togi Makabe, Toru Yano, and Satoshi Kojima defeated Unbound Co.’s Yuto-Ice, OSKAR, and Gedo. The winning trio combined three highly experienced NJPW veterans, while Yuto-Ice and OSKAR teamed with Gedo on behalf of Unbound Co.

Makabe, Yano, and Kojima’s victory gave the veteran group a successful opening-night outing. It also marked Unbound Co.’s first listed defeat of the evening, creating a mixed overall record for the faction before its members returned to the ring in the main event.

With Cobb and Takagi winning their match but Yuto-Ice, OSKAR, and Gedo losing theirs, Unbound Co.’s presence was not defined by a single result. Instead, the group was presented across different combinations and against a broad range of opposition over the course of the card.

Wolf, Uemura and Taichi Overcome TMDK

Aaron Wolf, Yuya Uemura, and Taichi defeated the TMDK trio of Ryohei Oiwa, Hartley Jackson, and Kosei Fujita. The result placed Wolf, Uemura, and Taichi together in a winning unit against a TMDK side that featured Oiwa and Fujita alongside Jackson.

The six-man tag continued the event’s theme of established NJPW names working beside wrestlers in evolving alliances. Uemura and Taichi scored the victory with Wolf as TMDK sought to gain control through its own three-man combination.

TMDK’s involvement added another factional dimension to an event already filled with group-versus-group matches. Although the Road to Destruction opener did not center on a single championship match, the night offered numerous opportunities for teams and factions to measure themselves against one another.

Goto, YOH, Oleg and Wato Win the Main Event

The closing match saw Hirooki Goto, YOH, Boltin Oleg, and Master Wato defeat Unbound Co.’s Yota Tsuji, Taiji Ishimori, Robbie X, and Daiki Nagai. The eight-man tag provided the biggest lineup of the night and placed four different members of Unbound Co. opposite a team that blended heavyweight and junior heavyweight talent.

Goto, YOH, Oleg, and Wato emerged with the main-event victory, ending the show on a positive note for their side. For Unbound Co., the defeat meant the faction finished its heavily featured night with two listed losses against one listed win.

Tsuji, Ishimori, Robbie X, and Nagai supplied a varied Unbound Co. lineup, while Goto, YOH, Oleg, and Wato formed an equally diverse opposing unit. The result gave Goto’s team a meaningful win at the end of a show structured around faction competition and shifting team dynamics.
