Kelani Jordan is heading into WWE NXT Halloween Havoc with the NXT Women’s Championship on the line, but she has also taken time to reflect on one of the biggest moments of her career so far: her in-ring debut on Monday Night Raw.

Jordan will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Wren Sinclair at the October 31, 2026 Premium Live Event. Before that championship match, Jordan discussed her September appearance on Raw, where she competed in a Money in the Bank qualifying match against Raquel Rodriguez and Lola Vice.

For Jordan, the match represented more than simply an opportunity to wrestle on another WWE brand. It was a chance to perform in front of a larger audience, work with opponents she had not previously faced in that setting, and introduce more viewers to what she can bring to the ring.

“It was so cool. It’s just crazy to see the difference. One, you’re performing in front of however many — I don’t even know the number there,” Jordan said. “So, I mean, we did have a Stand & Deliver with that many people there, but it’s just so cool to be in the ring with Raquel too, who I never really got to work a one-on-one or even in a multi-person match and then to be there for Lola’s debut because we have a lot of history, a lot of story.”

Jordan’s comments underline why the Raw match carried added importance. She had experienced major-event atmospheres in NXT before, including Stand & Deliver, but Raw presented a different kind of platform. The weekly flagship environment, combined with the scale of the audience and the exposure that comes with a main-roster appearance, made the opportunity a significant professional milestone.

Her opponents also gave the appearance a distinctive dynamic. Rodriguez is an established main-roster powerhouse whose size and physicality make her a markedly different challenge from many wrestlers Jordan has faced during her NXT run. Jordan noted that she had not previously worked with Rodriguez in either singles or multi-person competition, making their shared time in the ring a new experience.

Lola Vice’s involvement brought another layer to the contest. Jordan referenced the history and story between herself and Vice, making the match meaningful beyond its Money in the Bank implications. The three-way qualifier placed Jordan alongside a familiar rival and a new in-ring counterpart while giving her a chance to perform on one of WWE’s biggest weekly stages.

“It was just an awesome experience to be able to be on a big stage, something that you worked for your whole career so being on Raw and being on Netflix, it was a super big turning point in my career,” Jordan said. “And I think also, it just allowed people to get more eyes on me. I didn’t give ‘em too much of Kelani Jordan but I gave them just enough to hopefully that they kept wanting to see what more I could do.”

That measured assessment is notable. Jordan did not frame the Raw bout as the finished product or as a final destination. Instead, she viewed it as an introduction: a performance intended to give viewers a glimpse of her abilities while leaving room for them to seek out more of her work in NXT.

That is an especially relevant objective at this stage of her reign. As NXT Women’s Champion, Jordan is not just building toward future opportunities; she is currently responsible for defining a championship run on WWE’s developmental brand. A Raw appearance can expand her visibility, but the title defense against Sinclair remains the immediate priority.

Jordan’s Focus Remains on the NXT Women’s Championship

Jordan made clear that she wants a regular role on Raw or SmackDown when the right time comes. However, she also emphasized that a move to the main roster is not the focus of her current plans. Her attention is on creating a reign that matters and leaving a lasting mark in NXT.

“Of course when the time is right, be able to get on the big show, whether it’s Raw or SmackDown, whatever it is,” Jordan said. “I wanna be able to show what I can do on a different brand. But right now, my focus is just to have an iconic NXT Women’s Championship reign and a legacy here in NXT.”

It is a balanced outlook from the champion. A Raw debut naturally invites questions about a potential call-up, particularly when a reigning NXT champion is placed in a prominent main-roster qualifying match. Jordan acknowledged that ambition without treating it as a reason to overlook the responsibilities in front of her.

Her desire to work on either Raw or SmackDown also speaks to the broader goal of proving her versatility. Jordan’s Raw appearance was a first step on that stage, but she has signaled that she wants the chance to demonstrate what she can do consistently beyond NXT whenever WWE determines that the timing is appropriate.

For now, the road leads directly to Halloween Havoc. Sinclair stands across the ring from Jordan on October 31, and the challenger has the opportunity to derail the champion’s stated goal of an iconic title reign. Jordan will enter the event with the momentum and confidence that comes from her Raw exposure, but the championship match will demand that she remain centered on NXT.

Wren Sinclair Awaits at Halloween Havoc

The Halloween Havoc title bout arrives only weeks after Jordan’s Raw showcase, giving the champion an opportunity to turn heightened attention into a defining defense. Jordan’s comments suggest she understands the value of that connection. More viewers may now be aware of her after seeing her on Raw, and a successful performance against Sinclair would offer those viewers another reason to follow her work.

At the same time, Jordan’s approach has been clear: exposure is valuable, but championship legacy is the priority. Her run as NXT Women’s Champion is still being written through each defense, each opponent, and each moment where she is asked to carry the division’s top prize.

Halloween Havoc offers the next major chapter in that process. Sinclair will challenge Jordan for the title on a card where the champion has the opportunity to reinforce why she believes NXT is where her attention belongs right now.

The Halloween Havoc go-home edition of NXT airs October 27. That episode will provide the final stop before Jordan and Sinclair meet at the Premium Live Event four days later.

Jordan has already had a taste of the Raw stage, calling the experience a turning point in her career. But with Halloween Havoc approaching, her immediate mission is straightforward: retain the NXT Women’s Championship, continue building the reign she wants to be remembered for, and ensure that the attention generated by her main-roster debut leads back to a stronger legacy in NXT.
