Zoey Serrano has delivered a clear answer to speculation surrounding a possible Pure Fusion Collective reunion in TNA Wrestling: it will not be happening.

Serrano, who previously competed as Zoey Stark in WWE, recently entered TNA’s Knockouts division through a storyline involving authority figure Daria Rae. That connection quickly prompted questions among fans about whether the former WWE stablemates could once again work together under the Pure Fusion Collective banner.

Daria Rae, Serrano, and Shayna Baszler were aligned in Pure Fusion Collective during their WWE run. With Rae now present in TNA television storylines and Serrano arriving in the company, the shared history made reunion speculation understandable. Serrano, however, said her focus is firmly on building a singles path.

“No,” Serrano said with a laugh when asked about a Pure Fusion Collective reunion during an appearance on Rewind Recap Relive. “No. Look, Daria’s not wrestling. She’s done with wrestling. Shayna, she’s off doing her own thing. It’s just me. I’m ready to take off my single career. I feel like most of my career, it was tag stuff… This run, it’s just me, myself and I, and like I said, I’m gonna do what I wanna do so, no, I’m gonna shut those rumors down right now. No PFC. It’s not happening.”

That statement establishes an important distinction between Serrano’s history with Rae and the direction of her current TNA presentation. Rae may have played a role in bringing Serrano into the company in storyline, but Serrano does not view that arrival as the start of a revived group. Instead, she has positioned the move as a chance to operate independently.

Serrano Emphasizes a Fresh Singles Direction

For Serrano, the central point is not simply that Pure Fusion Collective will not return. It is that she wants this stage of her career to be identified with her as an individual competitor.

She specifically acknowledged that much of her career has involved tag-related work. That background is part of the story fans associate with her, particularly given the visibility of Pure Fusion Collective and the relationships formed around that group. Yet Serrano’s comments make clear that she does not intend to treat TNA as an extension of those earlier dynamics.

Her use of “me, myself and I” left little room for ambiguity. Serrano wants to make decisions for herself, pursue what she wants, and establish the next chapter without being framed as one part of a returning unit. In a division where alliances and rivalries can shift quickly, that is a meaningful declaration from a new arrival.

It also places extra attention on Serrano’s first steps in the Knockouts division. Rather than debuting as part of an established faction or being immediately linked to a full-scale reunion angle, she is entering competition with a stated personal objective: make her singles career the priority.

Daria Rae Connection Does Not Signal a Stable

The on-screen connection between Daria Rae and Serrano was always likely to fuel discussion. Rae was the authority figure responsible for bringing Serrano into TNA in storyline, and the two have a recognizable association from their previous time together. That history naturally created an opening for fans to wonder whether another member of their former group could eventually become involved.

Serrano addressed the situation directly by noting that Rae is no longer wrestling. That reality changes the nature of their connection in TNA. Rae’s role in Serrano’s introduction can support a storyline relationship, but Serrano’s remarks indicate that it should not be interpreted as the first piece of a wrestling faction being rebuilt.

At the same time, Serrano referenced Shayna Baszler as being focused on her own direction. Serrano did not suggest that Baszler was headed to TNA or that there were plans for the former group to reconnect elsewhere. Her message was the opposite: the members are on separate paths, and Pure Fusion Collective is not part of what she is doing now.

That directness is especially notable because reunion speculation often grows whenever former allies cross paths again in a new promotion or storyline environment. Serrano chose not to leave the possibility open-ended. She shut it down.

First TNA Singles Match Set Against Harley Hudson

Serrano’s next opportunity to show what this independent approach looks like will come on the September 17 edition of Thursday Night iMPACT. She is scheduled to face Harley Hudson in her first singles match for TNA.

The match gives Serrano an immediate chance to move from words to action. Her interview comments outlined the direction she wants for this run, while the bout with Hudson provides the first in-ring test of that stated mission. As a singles contest, it fits exactly with the focus Serrano described.

There is no need for a group reunion to define the stakes of Serrano’s arrival. The Knockouts division is the setting, Hudson is the first opponent, and Serrano has already explained the mindset she is bringing into the match. She is not presenting herself as a representative of Pure Fusion Collective. She is presenting herself as a competitor looking to take control of her own future.

That approach could shape how audiences view her early TNA run. New signings can arrive carrying familiar history, particularly when they have prominent previous affiliations. Serrano is not denying that history or pretending the past associations did not exist. She is simply drawing a line between what came before and what she wants to build now.

A Defining Early Message for the Knockouts Division

Serrano’s arrival adds another singles-focused voice to the Knockouts division. Her first comments about the possibility of a Pure Fusion Collective reunion were not vague hints designed to prolong the conversation. They were a firm rejection of it.

By doing so, Serrano has established a straightforward expectation for the immediate future. Fans should not anticipate Daria Rae, Serrano, and Shayna Baszler reforming Pure Fusion Collective in TNA. Rae’s involvement in Serrano’s entrance into the company does not change that, and Serrano made clear that she considers the rumored reunion off the table.

The bigger story is therefore Serrano herself. She is beginning a new chapter in TNA under her own name, with her first singles match against Harley Hudson set for September 17. The former alliances remain part of the context surrounding her arrival, but they will not be the foundation of her stated plans.

For Serrano, the message is simple: no PFC, no reunion, and no uncertainty about where her attention is going. Her TNA run is intended to be about Zoey Serrano’s singles career.
