Mandy Rose has again addressed her departure from WWE, making clear that she does not carry resentment about how her time with the company ended.

Rose was released from her WWE contract toward the end of 2022 amid attention surrounding content on her FanTime account. The exit generated extensive discussion at the time, particularly because Rose had been a prominent figure in NXT before her release. Nearly four years later, Rose says she views that period as one important chapter of her life rather than something she wants to reject or separate herself from.

During an appearance on TMZ’s Inside The Ring, Rose was asked whether she is looking to distance herself from wrestling or whether she still embraces that part of her public identity. Her answer reflected the perspective she has maintained when questions about a possible return arise.

“I feel like I embrace it and I’m always kind of like the main, the big question people ask is, ‘Will you ever go back?’ I always just say, ‘Never say never.’ I’m never bitter. I’m never upset about what had happened, what had gone down and the whole situation because I just look at it like I love my life right now. I’m married. I’m a mom. I’m able to have the financial freedom, independence and just be able to do what I want when I want and I don’t need to do anything which is really amazing.”

The comments underline an important distinction in Rose’s outlook. She has not closed the door on wrestling, as reflected in her familiar “never say never” response, but she also is not presenting a comeback as something she needs in order to feel fulfilled professionally or personally. Instead, she emphasized the freedom and independence she feels in her current circumstances.

Rose’s WWE tenure remains a major part of why fans continue to ask her about the possibility of returning to the ring. She was introduced to a wide audience through WWE and became a recognizable name on the company’s programming. Her departure, coming after an eventful run in NXT, naturally left many followers wondering whether her wrestling story had reached its final page or merely paused.

“They made their decision and I made mine pay off. I just feel like it’s important to have that positive mindset because I don’t like to even talk bad about them. Because I’m super grateful for everything that the company gave me, the platform it presented itself with and the following that I got from WWE. I wouldn’t be here today and I wouldn’t be able to self-monetize as much with this incredible fan base that I have. So, I’m super grateful and it is what it is. But no, I don’t really disassociate myself from what I’ve done and that chapter of my life. I just look at it like, it was a chapter and I’m on this new chapter of my life.”

Rose Does Not Disown Her WWE Past

Rose’s remarks provide a direct answer to the notion that she may wish to leave her wrestling persona entirely behind. Rather than disassociating from the career she built in WWE, she described it as a completed chapter that still matters to her present-day life and business.

That is especially notable given the continuing public focus on the circumstances of her release. A high-profile departure can often lead to a prolonged war of words, bitter public comments, or an effort by a performer to minimize their association with a former employer. Rose has taken a different approach. She acknowledged that WWE made a decision, but she did not criticize the company for it. She instead pointed to the audience and platform she gained during that time as key parts of the foundation that allows her to operate independently now.

Her reference to self-monetization also speaks to the business reality behind her current position. Rose said the fan base she cultivated through WWE has played a major role in her ability to pursue her own opportunities. In that respect, she sees her wrestling background and her current life as connected, not competing identities.

For now, Rose’s stance appears to be one of openness without urgency. She said she has financial freedom, independence, and the ability to make her own choices about what she does and when she does it.
