TNA Wrestling has added a violent-looking rematch to the October 29 edition of iMPACT!, as The Hardys will collide with SYX in a Slaughterhouse SYX match.
Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy are scheduled to face Sam Shaw and Joseph Sawyer after the two teams previously met at TNA Bound For Glory. On that occasion, SYX came away with the victory, but the result was influenced by the involvement of Erick Redbeard. The announcement of the Slaughterhouse SYX stipulation makes clear that the issue between the two sides has not been settled by their first encounter.
The October 29 episode of iMPACT! now features championship action in both the X Division and Knockouts division, along with the latest chapter in the escalating Hardys-SYX rivalry. The show is set to begin at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday.

The Hardys Get an Immediate Chance at Revenge
The match at Bound For Glory gave SYX an important win over one of TNA’s most established and decorated tag teams. Shaw and Sawyer did not earn that victory without controversy, however, as Redbeard’s help played a key role in swinging the match in their favor.

For Matt and Jeff Hardy, the defeat creates a straightforward objective heading into Thursday: answer the interference, stop SYX from gaining further momentum, and prevent Redbeard from becoming the deciding factor once again. A rematch alone would have carried high stakes following the Bound For Glory outcome. The Slaughterhouse SYX designation adds another layer of intrigue to a feud that has already become increasingly personal.
TNA has not provided further match-rule details in the announced lineup. Still, the name of the stipulation indicates that this will not be treated as a standard tag team contest. The Hardys have competed in unconventional and high-pressure environments throughout their careers, while Shaw and Sawyer enter the bout with the confidence that comes from defeating them on a major event.
SYX will also be encouraged by the fact that Redbeard has already demonstrated his willingness to get involved on their behalf. Whether The Hardys can neutralize that threat—or whether the stipulation creates an environment where outside involvement becomes even more difficult to control—will be a central question on iMPACT!.
What the Bound For Glory Result Means
Bound For Glory is one of TNA’s most prominent events, making the SYX victory especially significant. Beating Matt and Jeff Hardy provides Shaw and Sawyer with an immediate statement win, regardless of the disputed nature of the finish. At the same time, Redbeard’s involvement means the result did not offer a clean conclusion to the rivalry.
That unresolved finish gives TNA a natural reason to return to the matchup so quickly. The Hardys have reason to argue that they were denied a fair outcome. SYX, meanwhile, can point to the record books and say they already defeated their veteran opponents when the stakes were highest. Those competing claims make the October 29 meeting about more than simply repeating a recent match.
The Slaughterhouse SYX match will determine whether Shaw and Sawyer can prove that their Bound For Glory performance was the beginning of a sustained rise, or whether their success was built on Redbeard’s presence. For The Hardys, a victory would erase some of the damage from the pay-per-view loss and reestablish them as a team capable of handling TNA’s more dangerous challengers.
X Division Championship Match Announced
The October 29 card will also feature Amazing Red defending the TNA X Division Championship against Cedric Alexander. Amazing Red enters as champion, while Alexander arrives with an opportunity to capture one of the promotion’s most recognizable titles.
The X Division has long been associated with speed, athleticism, and innovation, and the announced title match places two accomplished competitors in a setting where those qualities are traditionally emphasized. For Amazing Red, the challenge is to protect his championship against a challenger with the ability to turn a single opening into a match-changing moment. For Alexander, the bout represents a chance to leave Thursday night with major singles gold.
There is no indication in the announced lineup of any additional stipulations for the title defense. That puts the emphasis squarely on the championship itself and on which wrestler can make the most of the opportunity in the ring.
Knockouts Television Title Also on the Line
M by Elegance will defend the TNA Knockouts Television Title against Jada Stone in another championship match on the program. As the reigning titleholder, M by Elegance will look to maintain her position in the Knockouts division, while Stone has the chance to score a career-defining upset by taking the title.
The television championship match gives the October 29 broadcast a second title bout and broadens the importance of the episode beyond the Hardys-SYX grudge match. Stone’s challenge places a new obstacle in front of M by Elegance, who must balance the pressure of defending her championship with the unpredictability that comes whenever a hungry challenger gets a title opportunity on weekly television.
A win for M by Elegance would reinforce her standing as champion. A victory for Stone would immediately reshape the Knockouts Television Title picture. With championship changes always possible in a one-on-one encounter, the match is an important part of a card built around competitors trying to either preserve momentum or create it.
Elijah Meets Ryan Nemeth
Elsewhere on the show, Elijah is scheduled to take on Ryan Nemeth. The match adds another singles contest to a lineup already carrying a mix of championship stakes and tag team conflict.
John Skyler will also be in action against A.J. Francis. Skyler will be accompanied by Mila Moore, while Francis is listed with Expressions. Their respective entourages could add an additional element to the matchup, as both men head into the contest with support at ringside.
While no title is listed for either of those bouts, both matches offer an opportunity for the winners to build momentum on a packed edition of iMPACT!. In a promotion where victories can quickly move performers into bigger matches, Thursday’s results may carry consequences beyond the night itself.
Current October 29 TNA iMPACT! Lineup
- TNA X Division Championship: Amazing Red (c) vs. Cedric Alexander
- John Skyler, accompanied by Mila Moore, vs. A.J. Francis, accompanied by Expressions
- TNA Knockouts Television Title: M by Elegance (c) vs. Jada Stone
- Elijah vs. Ryan Nemeth
- Slaughterhouse SYX match: The Hardys, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy, vs. SYX, Sam Shaw and Joseph Sawyer
The newly announced Slaughterhouse SYX match gives the October 29 broadcast a major rematch with unfinished business at its center. SYX owns the Bound For Glory victory, but The Hardys have been handed an immediate path toward revenge. With Erick Redbeard’s prior interference hanging over the rivalry, the rematch will answer whether Shaw and Sawyer can stand on their own against Matt and Jeff—or whether the conflict is only beginning.
