Elayna Black has positioned herself for a major opportunity in TNA’s Knockouts division after winning a fatal four-way match on the September 24 edition of TNA Impact. Black defeated Gabby Forza, Harley Hudson and Jada Stone to earn a future challenge for the TNA Knockouts Television Championship, currently held by M By Elegance.
The match put four competitors with sharply different styles into a single high-stakes contest, and Black ultimately found the opening she needed during a chaotic finishing sequence. After Jada Stone had connected with the Spark Stunner against Forza, Black capitalized when Forza rolled to the floor, driving Stone down with a DDT to secure the deciding pinfall.
Black’s victory establishes her as the next contender for a championship that remains in its early days. TNA has not announced the date or episode of Impact on which M By Elegance will defend against Black. Under the championship’s designated rules, the Knockouts Television Title is to be defended exclusively on Impact, with a strict 10-minute time limit governing every title match.
Black Survives a Chaotic Four-Way
From the opening moments, the four-way gave each participant a chance to make an impression. Black came out aggressively, striking Gabby Forza early. Forza, known as “The Gnomie,” immediately answered with her power advantage, turning Black’s initial attack into a forceful slam.

Stone and Hudson then attempted to neutralize Forza with a combined burst of punches, but Forza quickly halted their momentum. She dropped both opponents with a double clothesline and continued to impose herself physically, crushing Hudson against the turnbuckles in the corner.
Black eventually interrupted Forza’s run. She struck Forza with an elbow before landing a hurricanrana that sent the powerhouse flying across the ring. That exchange shifted the pace of the match and reinforced the challenge Forza faced: she could dominate a single opponent, but keeping control in a four-way demanded constant awareness from every direction.
The closing stretch escalated when all four Knockouts climbed to the top turnbuckle. Forza was at the center of the precarious situation and brought everyone crashing down as she delivered a vertical suplex to Stone, taking the entire group off the ropes in the process. The move left all four women struggling to recover, creating another opening for the match’s momentum to turn.
Once the competitors got back to their feet, Black and Stone temporarily found common cause against Forza, hitting her with simultaneous superkicks. Their cooperation did not last. Stone followed by double stomping Black in the back, only for Black to send Stone into Hudson shortly afterward.
Forza returned with a back elbow to Stone, but her resurgence was short-lived. Stone connected with the Spark Stunner on Forza, seemingly placing herself in position to win. Instead, Forza rolled out of the ring. With Stone left inside, Black struck decisively, planting Stone with a DDT and taking the pinfall victory.
The result showed the narrow margins of a fatal four-way. Stone had built the late momentum and landed one of the match’s biggest moves, but Forza’s exit from the ring removed the immediate pinfall target. Black was ready to seize the moment, turning Stone’s brief vulnerability into a championship opportunity.
A New Challenger for M By Elegance
Black now turns her attention to M By Elegance, who recently made a successful Knockouts Television Championship defense against Kiera Hogan. That defense came one week before Black won the contender’s match, meaning M will have little time to settle before preparing for a new opponent.
M became the inaugural Knockouts Television Champion on August 27 by defeating Jada Stone in the finals of the tournament held to crown the first titleholder. Stone’s appearance in the four-way gave her a chance to immediately fight her way back toward the championship she narrowly missed in the tournament final, but Black’s DDT ended that possibility for now.
The upcoming title match will offer Black the chance to make a major statement in TNA. Earning a contender’s spot against three other opponents is different from winning a one-on-one title bout, but the four-way demonstrated several parts of Black’s game that could matter against M. She showed speed in the hurricanrana against Forza, opportunism in the final sequence, and the ability to recover after being targeted by Stone’s double stomp.
Just as importantly, Black did not need to dominate the entire bout to win it. In a match with four competitors, reading the situation is often as valuable as sustaining control. Black waited through exchanges involving Forza’s strength, Hudson’s positioning and Stone’s offense, then acted immediately once the field had been reduced and Stone was exposed.
The 10-Minute Rule Adds Pressure
The Knockouts Television Championship’s 10-minute time limit will be central to Black’s challenge. The rule means neither champion nor challenger can afford a slow start, particularly in a division where momentum can shift quickly. A short time limit rewards urgency, crisp execution and the ability to create a finish before the clock becomes a factor.
For M By Elegance, the format presents the responsibility of defending a title designed specifically for Impact. Her win over Hogan demonstrated that she can navigate that pressure as champion, but Black will bring a fresh threat after emerging from a demanding multi-person match.
For Black, the time restriction presents both an obstacle and an opportunity. Her victory over Stone, Forza and Hudson came through a sudden decisive strike rather than a lengthy period of dominance. If she can create a similar opening against M, a fast finish could be exactly what she needs. At the same time, the champion’s experience in the title’s early defenses may be valuable in a contest where every second matters.
A time-limit draw is also an inherent possibility under the championship rules, adding another layer of tension to every defense. Black has earned the right to challenge, but the structure of the bout will require her to do more than simply survive M’s offense. She will need to beat the champion within the allotted 10 minutes to leave with the title.
What the Win Means for the Knockouts Division
The four-way contender’s match also highlighted the depth around the new championship. Forza’s power made her a persistent threat throughout the contest, Hudson was repeatedly involved in the shifting alliances and collisions, and Stone came within moments of building a path back to the title picture. Each competitor had moments of control, but Black emerged with the result that matters most.
Stone’s role remains particularly notable given her history with the championship. She was the opponent M defeated in the August 27 tournament final, then came close to a victory that would have put her back in line for a rematch. Instead, Black’s win moves the immediate focus away from Stone and toward a first-time title collision between Black and M.
There is no announced location or date for the championship match, but Black’s status is clear: she is the next challenger for the TNA Knockouts Television Championship. M By Elegance has already successfully defended the title once. Her next defense will come against a contender who proved she can navigate disorder, capitalize in an instant and finish a match when the opportunity appears.
With the title confined to Impact and every defense limited to 10 minutes, Black’s challenge should arrive with an immediate sense of urgency. The contender’s match has given her a direct route to championship gold. The remaining question is whether she can convert that opportunity before M By Elegance’s reign gains even more momentum.
