The Brawling Birds remain AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions after Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor defeated Divine Dominion’s Megan Bayne and Lena Kross in a violent Chicago Street Fight at AEW All Out 2026.
There was no gradual escalation to the stipulation. The champions and challengers brought the fight to one another before the match could properly settle into a conventional opening, immediately establishing that the title encounter would be decided by survival as much as execution. Chairs, a table, a kendo stick, a trash can, a guardrail, barbed wire and thumbtacks all became part of a lengthy struggle in which neither team could maintain control for long.
In the end, Hayter and Windsor found the opening they needed when they delivered Two Birds, One Stone to Kross into a pile of tacks. Windsor then covered Kross on top of the thumbtacks to secure the pinfall and preserve the championship reign.
Divine Dominion strike before the bell
The action began with The Brawling Birds attacking Divine Dominion before the bell. Hayter and Windsor set up a table early, looking to seize the momentum before Bayne and Kross could establish the physical advantage that had made them such dangerous challengers.

That advantage quickly shifted. Bayne slammed Hayter into the table and followed it by driving her into the barricade. She continued to target Hayter with a face-first shot into the steps as Divine Dominion took control of the ringside environment. With both members of The Brawling Birds brought into the ring, Bayne and Kross attempted to further punish them with chairs.
Hayter and Windsor did not allow that situation to become a sustained assault. The champions fought back and double-teamed Kross, briefly turning the focus onto one half of the challenger team. Hayter placed a chair across Kross, and The Brawling Birds then suplexed Bayne onto it. The exchange showed the chemistry that has defined the champions: even in an environment built around weapons and disorder, Hayter and Windsor continued to look for opportunities to work together.
Divine Dominion answered with an especially punishing sequence. Kross held Hayter in place for Bayne, who landed a big boot that sent Hayter crashing through the table. The table that had been introduced before the bell ultimately became part of Divine Dominion’s offensive statement, and Hayter was left to absorb the consequences.
Weapons change the shape of the title fight
Once the match moved deeper into its street-fight structure, every attempt to regain momentum came with an added level of risk. Kross pulled Windsor’s arms over the ropes, allowing Bayne to strike her with a kendo stick. Windsor responded by spitting in Bayne’s face, an act of defiance that only brought more kendo-stick shots to her back.
Bayne then landed a DDT on Hayter onto a chair wrapped in barbed wire. The moment underlined how far Divine Dominion were prepared to go to take the titles. Bayne’s power and Kross’ ability to create openings made for a difficult combination for the champions, particularly when they were able to isolate either Hayter or Windsor.
Windsor countered by using a trash can against Kross. After hitting Kross with it, Windsor placed the can over her, and Hayter followed with a shoulder block onto it. The champions subsequently struck Kross with chairs at the same time, using the kind of synchronized offense that had repeatedly pulled them out of trouble during the match.
The fight then paused only long enough for all four competitors to sit in chairs and exchange forearms. It was a remarkable image amid the chaos: four wrestlers sitting face-to-face, trading blows until they rose to their feet. Divine Dominion eventually threw their chairs into their opponents, reasserting themselves in the exchange and ensuring the champions would have no chance to reset.
Bayne’s power keeps Divine Dominion in control
Bayne continued to be a central force in the match. She tossed Hayter onto a chair, although Hayter responded with a suplex. Bayne then demonstrated her strength by suplexing both members of The Brawling Birds simultaneously. It was a major turning point in the physical battle, as Bayne repeatedly prevented Hayter and Windsor from building the sustained rhythm necessary for their double-team offense.
Divine Dominion raised the stakes further by bringing a guardrail into the ring. Bayne set up a chair between the ropes while Kross positioned the guardrail in the opposite corner. Kross attempted a double suplex, but Hayter and Windsor blocked it. Hayter instead suplexed Bayne and Kross into the guardrail, giving the champions another desperately needed swing in momentum.
Even then, Bayne was able to halt The Brawling Birds’ momentum. She countered Two Birds, One Stone, preventing the champions from landing the combination that would ultimately decide the contest. Divine Dominion then sent Windsor into the top of the chairs, and Hayter had to break up the ensuing pin attempt.
That near fall made clear that the match could have ended in Divine Dominion’s favor at any moment. Kross and Bayne were not merely trying to outlast the champions; they were actively creating finishes through the weapons around them. The titleholders, meanwhile, had to survive those moments while continuing to find a path back to their own decisive move.
Barbed wire and thumbtacks lead to the finish
Divine Dominion introduced another dangerous weapon when they revealed a board covered in barbed wire. They brought the board into the ring and propped it in a corner, presenting Hayter and Windsor with another obstacle to overcome.
Hayter turned that threat around with a Death Valley Driver that sent Bayne into the barbed-wire board. At the same time, Kross sent Windsor into a chair, keeping the ring divided and preventing either team from fully capitalizing on its offense. The split-second exchanges reflected the central story of the match: when one member of a team appeared close to breaking through, the other side found a way to answer.
Kross then poured out a bag of thumbtacks, setting the stage for the final phase of the Chicago Street Fight. She looked to use the tacks against Windsor, but Windsor blocked her. That block proved vital. With Kross unable to complete her attack, The Brawling Birds got the opening they had been pursuing through the closing stretch.
Hayter and Windsor connected with Two Birds, One Stone into the thumbtacks. Windsor covered Kross directly on top of the tacks, and the champions earned the three-count.
The Brawling Birds defeated Divine Dominion to retain the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Champions endure a defining defense
The victory was not a straightforward showcase of the champions’ offense. Hayter and Windsor were battered by Divine Dominion’s weapon attacks, separated repeatedly, and forced to fight through Bayne’s strength and Kross’ opportunism. They also had to escape a sequence involving the guardrail, the barbed-wire board, and the thumbtacks before finally putting the challengers away.
For Divine Dominion, the result will be especially frustrating because Bayne and Kross came close on several occasions. Bayne’s big boot through the table, the barbed-wire DDT, the simultaneous suplex, and Windsor being sent into the chairs all placed The Brawling Birds in peril. Still, the challengers could not keep either champion down for the final count.
At All Out, Hayter and Windsor proved they could win under one of the most punishing environments available to them. Divine Dominion made the champions fight for every inch of the ring, but when the decisive moment arrived, The Brawling Birds landed their signature combination and left Chicago with the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship still in their possession.
