Big Cass has identified two WWE opponents he would most like to face in a singles match: Roman Reigns and Oba Femi.
Since returning to WWE earlier this year, Cass has primarily competed as a singles wrestler. More recently, he has appeared to form an alliance with Ethan Page on WWE RAW, but his comments make clear that he is also looking at the biggest potential individual matchups available across the company.
Speaking on the Sal Licata Show, Cass was asked about dream matches and separated the names he sees as impossible at this stage from the opponents who could realistically be available. The former WWE tag team standout named several legendary figures before turning his attention to Reigns and Femi.
“Taker and Stone Cold would be the ones that, you know, I’d say pretty safe to say can’t happen at this point. Taker and Stone Cold, Kevin Nash. But for what could possibly happen, obviously you want to, you want to wrestle Roman top dog. He’s top of the food chain. You want to wrestle him one-on-one. I’ve wrestled him in other kinds of matches, but one-on-one would love to wrestle Roman and Ob. Me and Oba. I would really, really love to work that, to wrestle Oba. I think that would be very good.”

Big Cass Wants a Singles Match With Roman Reigns
Reigns remains one of the most significant names in modern WWE, and Cass framed a one-on-one encounter with him as the kind of match a wrestler naturally wants to pursue. Calling Reigns “top dog” and “top of the food chain,” Cass emphasized the difference between having shared a ring in multi-person settings and meeting in a dedicated singles contest.
That distinction is important. A singles match places the entire focus on two performers and asks them to establish the stakes, the physicality, and the story without other competitors sharing the spotlight. Cass did not specify when or where he would like the bout to happen, nor did he indicate that WWE has discussed booking it. His answer was about an aspirational matchup rather than an announced plan.
Still, the appeal of the pairing is easy to understand from Cass’ perspective. Reigns is positioned as one of WWE’s premier attractions, and a match against him carries obvious competitive and career significance. Cass’ comments also reflect his desire to be viewed in that upper tier of potential opponents following his return to the company.
For now, there is no confirmation of a Reigns vs. Cass singles match. Reigns’ schedule and WWE’s wider creative direction will ultimately determine which major programs come together. Cass simply made it clear that, if the opportunity were to arise, he would welcome the chance to stand across the ring from Reigns with no other wrestlers involved.
Oba Femi Match Stands Out for Cass
While Reigns represents the established top-level WWE target, Cass’ comments about Oba Femi carried their own emphasis. Cass said he would “really, really love” to wrestle Femi and added that he believes the match “would be very good.”
The proposed matchup has a straightforward visual and physical appeal. Both Cass and Femi bring imposing presences to the ring, making it a potentially distinctive collision between two larger-than-life competitors. Cass did not lay out a specific angle, brand, event, or championship scenario for the match. He simply identified Femi as a wrestler he wants to work with and expressed confidence in the quality of what they could produce together.
That answer also shows Cass looking beyond only established legacy names. Reigns is a former world champion whose standing at the top of WWE has defined an era, while Femi represents a different type of possible test. In naming both men, Cass pointed toward opponents who offer separate challenges and very different places within the broader WWE landscape.
There is no indication that Cass and Femi are currently scheduled to meet. As with the Reigns possibility, the comments should be viewed as Cass naming a preferred opponent, not as an announcement of an upcoming WWE program. But wrestlers publicly identifying opponents they want to face can help highlight combinations that fans may want to see in the future.
Singles Focus Continues After WWE Return
Cass’ remarks arrive during a period in which his WWE return has largely centered on singles competition. That is a notable development given how prominently he was previously associated with tag team wrestling alongside Enzo. His work with Ethan Page on RAW has suggested a new alliance, but Cass’ individual ambitions remain clear.
In the same interview, Cass also addressed the differences between working as a heel singles wrestler and his earlier tag team run with Enzo. The subject underlines the changing circumstances of his WWE career. Tag team presentation and singles presentation require different responsibilities, especially when it comes to establishing a character’s identity, controlling a match’s pace, and carrying a rivalry on an individual level.
His dream-match answer fits that singles-oriented outlook. Neither Reigns nor Femi was named as part of a tag scenario. Cass specifically stressed wanting a one-on-one match with Reigns, while his enthusiasm for Femi was similarly rooted in the idea of the two men working together in the ring.
Whether the partnership with Page becomes a more formal and lasting unit or remains an alliance within RAW’s shifting landscape, Cass has made his preferred direction known: he wants to test himself against major individual opponents. Reigns would present the ultimate established-name challenge, while Femi is the matchup Cass appears especially eager to explore.
Dream Matches Remain Unannounced
Cass began by acknowledging that some of his personal dream opponents belong to a category that is unlikely to become reality. He named The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Kevin Nash as wrestlers he considers safely out of reach for a future match.
That context makes his choices of Reigns and Femi more meaningful. Cass was not merely listing wrestling icons; he was identifying bouts that he believes are possible within the current WWE environment. Reigns and Femi are active names he sees as legitimate potential opponents, even if no official plans have been revealed.
For fans, the two suggestions offer different kinds of intrigue. A match with Reigns would be driven by stature and the chance for Cass to confront one of WWE’s defining stars. A match with Femi would center more immediately on the prospect of an imposing power clash between two athletes with substantial ring presence.
At present, neither contest has been made official. Cass’ comments stand as a direct statement of his ambitions following his return, as he continues to establish himself in singles competition while appearing alongside Ethan Page on RAW. If WWE ever elects to pursue either direction, Cass has already made clear that he would be ready for both the challenge of Roman Reigns and the physical test posed by Oba Femi.
