Athena has offered a warm look at the friendship she shares with Alexa Bliss, describing her former road partner as one of the people she values most in her life.

Although the two now work for different companies and their schedules do not often line up, Athena made clear that the distance has not changed the bond they developed while traveling together. “I had the awesome Alexa Bliss to help me out every step of this way,” Athena said. “My bestie, I miss you girl.”

Athena explained that their friendship grew through their time as road buddies. In an industry built around constant travel, long days, and changing cities, road partnerships can become an important source of familiarity. For Athena and Bliss, that time together led to shared routines, personal conversations, and plenty of memories away from the ring.

“I had never gotten my nails done before and she’s like, ‘Girl, let’s go. No, come on. Pixie’s gonna take care of you, babygirl. Come on down here, you can’t just get the normal.’”

For Athena, those moments were more meaningful than simply choosing clothes or going to an appointment. She said she had women around her who helped her determine what worked for her and where to find the things she needed. Athena also noted that these are pressures and concerns that men in wrestling do not always have to address as frequently.

Her comments did not suggest that Bliss tried to remake her personality. Instead, Athena spoke about receiving support as she found her own comfort level.
