AEW All Out 2026 takes over the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, with an 11-match lineup built around championship stakes, long-running grudges, and major implications for the weeks ahead. The eighth annual All Out is sold out, and AEW has packed the event with seven title matches, including a high-profile AEW World Championship main event between Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley.

The card also returns several major stories to the Chicago-area building. Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland, whose rivalry reached a brutal peak at All Out 2024, are again on opposite sides in a Trios title contest. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage put the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line in a Three-Way Ladder Match against both The Young Bucks and FTR. Elsewhere, Kazuchika Okada meets Tommaso Ciampa, Andrade El Idolo finally gets a long-awaited All Out meeting with PAC, and the women’s division has both a TBS Championship open challenge and a WrestleDream title-shot eliminator.

Will Ospreay Defends the AEW World Championship Against Jon Moxley

Ospreay’s first AEW World Championship defense will come against one of the most dangerous and influential opponents of his career. Moxley enters All Out as AEW Continental Champion, giving the main event the feel of a collision between two men who have defined different visions of excellence within the company.

The issue is deeply personal for Ospreay. Moxley and the Death Riders were responsible for putting Ospreay out of action last summer. Yet their role in Ospreay’s story has also been more complicated than simple hostility. Moxley and his group helped force Ospreay toward a harder, more complete version of himself. Now that Ospreay sits atop AEW as world champion, Moxley is aiming to prove that the competitor he helped shape cannot surpass him.

The matchup creates a sizable test for the new champion. Ospreay brings the speed, precision, and explosive offense that have made him one of wrestling’s premier big-match performers. Moxley brings an ability to drag opponents into an unforgiving contest and make every exchange feel consequential. With the world title on the line, Ospreay has the chance to establish the tone of his reign immediately. Moxley, meanwhile, can add the AEW World Championship to his Continental title and reclaim the division’s top spot.

Tag Team Titles Hang Above the Ring in Three-Way Ladder Match

Copeland and Cage will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks and FTR in a Three-Way Ladder Match. It is a match designed to test history, trust, and durability as much as athleticism.

For Copeland and Cage, the bout represents a return to a match environment closely associated with their legacies. The champions helped make ladder matches a defining part of tag team wrestling across the 1990s and 2000s. However, Copeland has not competed in a ladder match of any kind in nearly 16 years. At All Out, he and Cage will face two teams with their own emphatic cases for all-time greatness.

The Young Bucks remain one of AEW’s most decorated and influential pairings, while FTR have built their reputation on elite traditional tag wrestling and a willingness to endure punishment when the stakes rise. All three teams will be pursuing the championships suspended above the ring, and the lack of a conventional pinfall or submission finish changes the calculus entirely. In a ladder match, a single opening can matter more than control of the match itself.

Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland Renew Their Rivalry in Trios Title Match

Page teams with Brody King and Bandido to challenge Swerve Strickland, Kofi, and Austin Creed of The New Level for the AEW World Trios Championships. While the titleholders have momentum and a formidable unit around Strickland, the match brings Page and Swerve back into the same All Out setting where their feud previously produced one of its most violent chapters.

At All Out 2024 in the NOW Arena, Page and Strickland battled in a Lights Out Steel Cage match that pushed their rivalry to a harrowing level. Their history is not erased simply because they now meet in a six-man format. Each man has shown a willingness to go to extreme lengths against the other, and that unresolved animosity could shape the title match.

Kofi and Creed have sought out the best competition AEW can offer since gaining their new opportunity in the promotion. Aligning with Strickland has made The New Level an imposing championship trio. Still, Page’s team presents a contrasting threat: Brody King’s raw power, Bandido’s high-level athleticism, and the championship pedigree of the reigning ROH World Champion. The match has the potential to be decided as much by whether Page and Strickland can remain focused on the titles as by the tactical strengths of their respective partners.

Okada, Ciampa and a Long-Awaited Andrade vs. PAC Collision

Kazuchika Okada will defend the AEW International Championship against Tommaso Ciampa. Ciampa has been clear about the version of Okada he wants to face: not a diminished icon, but the “Rainmaker” who became synonymous with excellence in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Okada will have the chance to answer that challenge with the International title at stake.

Ciampa has wanted this encounter for years, and his approach figures to be direct and punishing. Known as the “Psycho Killer,” he has never relied on a clean or comfortable route to victory. Okada, though, is at his best when the pressure rises and a challenger demands his full attention. A successful defense would reinforce Okada’s standing as International champion; a Ciampa victory would be a career-defining breakthrough on a major AEW stage.

Andrade El Idolo versus PAC for the AEW National Championship is another meeting that has been years in the making. The two were scheduled to meet at All Out 2021, but PAC was unable to travel from the United Kingdom because of COVID-19 restrictions. They later split a pair of matches on AEW Rampage that year, leaving the decisive third contest unrealized.

Five years later, their unfinished business returns to All Out with Andrade’s National Championship on the line. Both men have changed substantially since 2021, but the competitive question remains familiar: can Andrade’s poise and power overcome PAC’s relentless, unpredictable offense? The answer will finally come with gold attached.

Women’s Division Stakes: TBS Open Challenge and WrestleDream Opportunity

Persephone will issue an open challenge for the AEW TBS Championship, but the identity of her challenger will not be known until the day of the event. She has ruled out Maya World, who has not been medically cleared, as well as Hyan following Persephone’s win over her on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite. Thunder Rosa has also been excluded after Persephone and Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. made their feelings toward her clear.

That leaves a potentially wide field of challengers and an unusual assignment for the champion. Persephone cannot tailor her preparation to one opponent, while whoever answers will need to be ready to challenge for the title on short notice. The uncertainty itself is part of the advantage and danger surrounding the open challenge.

The AEW Women’s World Championship picture will also take a major step forward when Thekla faces Willow Nightingale. The winner earns the right to challenge Mercedes Mone at AEW WrestleDream on October 17. Nightingale previously defeated Thekla at AEW Redemption 2026 to win the world title, providing Thekla with a clear motivation for revenge and a route back to the top of the division.

Nightingale enters with a broken hand, leaving her less than fully healthy for a match of this importance. Mone is also currently sidelined with a broken nose, but Thekla sees All Out as her chance to position herself for a return to championship contention. For Nightingale, the match is an opportunity to fight through injury and again deny Thekla the victory she wants most.

Women’s Tag Team Championship Street Fight and Contender Match

The Brawling Birds, Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor, defend the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships against Divine Dominion’s Megan Bayne and Lena Kross in a Chicago Street Fight. Hayter and Windsor captured the titles from Bayne and Kross at All In London 2026, producing a feel-good victory at Wembley Stadium.

Divine Dominion has not accepted that result as definitive. Bayne and Kross believe the loss in London was a fluke, and the Street Fight format ensures this rematch will not be about clean technical exchanges alone. Hayter and Windsor must prove their Wembley win was no accident, while the former champions will try to make the contest as physical and chaotic as possible.

In a separate tag team match, AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin joins Steven Borden against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight of The Don Callis Family. The winning team will become the number one contenders to the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Borden is entering only his third televised AEW match, making the stakes especially significant for a wrestler still early in his televised career.

Allin gives Borden an experienced partner with a personal connection to Borden’s father, Sting, after winning championship gold alongside Sting in AEW. Allin also comes in after getting the better of Knight at Wembley Stadium. Fletcher and Knight, however, bring far more collective experience and the backing of The Don Callis Family. A win would move Allin and Borden within touching distance of the same tag titles Copeland and Cage will defend earlier in the night.

Tailgate Brawl Opens the Night

The Tailgate Brawl airs at 7 p.m. ET on TNT and HBO Max before the pay-per-view main card. Jack Perry faces Katsuyori Shibata with a possible confrontation against Samoa Joe looming over the match. A Perry victory would move him closer to the clash he has been seeking with Joe, but Shibata is a daunting obstacle for anyone looking to build momentum.

The other Tailgate Brawl match features The Bang Bang Gang against The Dogs and the Death Riders. Juice Robinson will be at ringside to coach Jay White, Ace Austin, and The Gunns. Their opposition consists of Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, Clark Connors, and David Finlay. Claudio Castagnoli and Gabe Kidd will not be present for the opposing side because they are scheduled to work for NJPW the following day.

With championship changes, title opportunities, and old grievances all woven through the lineup, AEW All Out has the makings of a pivotal night for the promotion. The full card offers several paths for AEW’s landscape to change dramatically before WrestleDream arrives in October.
