Pro Wrestling NOAH has added major championship stakes across the board for Wrestle Odyssey II, with T.M.D.K. reuniting for a challenge to the GHC Tag Team Championship and six title matches currently advertised for the October 25 event at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

The headline attraction will see 2026 N-1 Victory tournament winner OZAWA challenge Tetsuya Naito for the GHC Heavyweight Championship. Naito enters the event as champion, while OZAWA arrives with the tournament victory that has positioned him for one of the biggest opportunities on NOAH’s calendar.

Elsewhere on the card, Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls will team together under the T.M.D.K. banner to face reigning GHC Tag Team Champions Yuki Iino and Manabu Soya. The match brings an established international tag pairing into a title fight against a powerful champion team whose combination of size, athleticism, and force makes them a formidable test for any challengers.

TMDK targets Iino and Soya

Haste and Nicholls have long been identified with T.M.D.K., and their reunion gives the GHC Tag Team Championship match immediate significance. The two wrestlers have extensive experience as a tandem, making their challenge more than a newly assembled pairing attempting to find chemistry in a high-pressure setting.

That familiarity will be essential against Iino and Soya. As champions, Iino and Soya bring a rugged, physical approach to the division. Their title defense at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall gives them a prominent stage to reinforce their standing, but it also presents T.M.D.K. with an opportunity to make a major statement in their return to NOAH competition.

The GHC Tag Team Championship has often served as a showcase for contrasting philosophies: teams built around power and aggression meeting duos with long-established timing and tactical cohesion. Iino and Soya against Haste and Nicholls fits that mold. The champions will have the size and strength advantage available to them, while T.M.D.K.’s shared history could prove decisive if they can keep the pace and match structure in their favor.

For Haste and Nicholls, a successful challenge would immediately place T.M.D.K. at the center of NOAH’s tag team scene. For Iino and Soya, defeating a team with T.M.D.K.’s credentials would be a valuable addition to their championship reign and a clear message to the rest of the division.

Naito and OZAWA set for the top prize

Wrestle Odyssey II will be headlined by Naito’s GHC Heavyweight Championship defense against OZAWA. The bout carries the added weight of OZAWA’s N-1 Victory triumph in 2026, which has earned him this opportunity against the reigning champion.

Naito’s status as GHC Heavyweight Champion ensures that the main event has a major spotlight at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall. The championship is the promotion’s premier singles prize, and a defense against the winner of the N-1 Victory tournament creates a straightforward but consequential championship scenario: the champion against a challenger who has already navigated elite tournament competition to reach this point.

OZAWA will be looking to convert tournament momentum into championship success on October 25. Winning the N-1 Victory tournament established him as a leading contender, but defeating Naito for the GHC Heavyweight Championship would represent an entirely different level of achievement. Naito, meanwhile, faces a challenger arriving with a defined claim to a title match rather than simply a recent victory or a personal rivalry.

The match also closes a card loaded with title defenses, placing the GHC Heavyweight Championship at the top of an event designed around the breadth of NOAH’s championship structure.

Six championship matches advertised

In addition to the heavyweight title match and the GHC Tag Team Championship defense, Wrestle Odyssey II is scheduled to feature championship action in the junior heavyweight, junior tag team, National, and GHC200 divisions.

Kai Fujimura is listed to defend the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship in a match involving Dragon Bane, Kaito Kiyomiya, Yoshiki Inamura, Kenoh, and Douga. The advertised listing places a broad mix of NOAH names and visiting or outside competition around Fujimura’s title, creating one of the card’s most unusual championship situations. With several competitors named in the announcement, the junior heavyweight championship contest has the potential to be one of the event’s most unpredictable bouts.

HAYATA will defend the GHC200 Championship against Shuji Kondo. This is a notable singles title contest between two accomplished names, with HAYATA seeking to retain and Kondo aiming to add another championship accomplishment to his career. The GHC200 title match offers a different kind of encounter from the larger multi-person and tag title bouts surrounding it, centering directly on a one-on-one challenge.

The GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship will also be on the line when Team 2000X’s YO-HEY and Jun Masaoka defend against Alejandro and Daiki Odashima. YO-HEY and Masaoka enter as the champions, while Alejandro and Odashima have the chance to disrupt Team 2000X’s hold on the division at one of NOAH’s biggest venues.

Naomichi Marufuji is scheduled to put the GHC National Championship on the line against M.P.I., identified as the Mysterious Phantom Invader. Marufuji’s presence in a championship defense remains a significant part of any NOAH event, and the identity presented for his challenger adds a distinctive element to the match. The GHC National Championship bout will give Marufuji a title defense against an opponent presented under the M.P.I. designation.

Ryōgoku Sumo Hall card takes shape

The advertised Wrestle Odyssey II lineup demonstrates NOAH’s intention to make October 25 a championship-heavy event. From Naito against OZAWA for the GHC Heavyweight Championship to T.M.D.K.’s challenge of Iino and Soya, each of the promotion’s major title scenes will receive attention at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall.

The balance of the card is particularly notable. The heavyweight championship match has a tournament winner challenging the champion. The tag title match brings together a reigning power-based team and the reunited T.M.D.K. The junior division is represented by both singles and tag championship bouts, while Marufuji and HAYATA are each scheduled for separate title defenses.

As advertised, the Wrestle Odyssey II championship card is:

  • GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship: Kai Fujimura (c) vs. Dragon Bane, Kaito Kiyomiya, Yoshiki Inamura, Kenoh, and Douga
  • GHC200 Championship: HAYATA (c) vs. Shuji Kondo
  • GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship: Team 2000X’s YO-HEY and Jun Masaoka (c) vs. Alejandro and Daiki Odashima
  • GHC Tag Team Championship: Manabu Soya and Yuki Iino (c) vs. T.M.D.K.’s Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls
  • GHC National Championship: Naomichi Marufuji (c) vs. M.P.I. (Mysterious Phantom Invader)
  • GHC Heavyweight Championship: Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. OZAWA

With every currently advertised match carrying a championship, Wrestle Odyssey II is set to be a pivotal night for NOAH’s title landscape. The outcome of Naito versus OZAWA will determine the direction of the heavyweight division, while the return of Haste and Nicholls as T.M.D.K. could have an immediate effect on the tag ranks. On October 25, Ryōgoku Sumo Hall will host a card where every announced contest has direct consequences for a championship scene.
