The match placed Naito and Marufuji on opposite sides, adding considerable experience and name value to the non-tournament portion of the card. Marufuji remains one of the defining figures in NOAH history, while Naito’s presence alongside BUSHI and RYUSEI gave Los Tranquilos de Japon a distinct combination of established star power and unit chemistry. Ultimately, Naito’s team claimed the victory over Marufuji, Iino and Tsuruya.

Another six-man match saw Kaito Kiyomiya team with Katsumi Inahata and Koyanagi Hayato against Kazuyuki Fujita, Mohammed Yone and Black Menso-re. Kiyomiya’s side earned the win.
