Jacy Jayne is headed to the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match after surviving a chaotic Triple Threat qualifier on WWE SmackDown against Jade Cargill and Alexa Bliss.
Jayne did not need to overpower either of her high-profile opponents to earn the victory. Instead, she waited for the right opening, drove a big boot into Cargill after Cargill had planted Bliss with Jaded, and covered Bliss before either opponent could recover. The opportunistic pinfall secured Jayne’s place in the field.
With the win, Jayne joins Sol Ruca and Lola Vice as the first three confirmed competitors in the Women’s Money in the Bank match. The result also reinforced the value of the stipulation’s qualifying matches: a wrestler does not have to defeat every opponent in a Triple Threat directly to advance, only be the one who secures the deciding fall.
Jayne Finds an Opening in a Three-Way Fight
The match began with all three competitors looking to establish control, but Jayne quickly showed that she was willing to use every available advantage. At one point, she stood on the announce table and demanded that commentary tell everyone how good she is. Bliss answered by pulling Jayne down and sending her face-first into the table.

Jayne responded by dragging Bliss out of the ring, only for Cargill to take over the action. Cargill repeatedly knocked Jayne down, showcasing the physical edge that made her a dangerous obstacle for both opponents. Jayne eventually dumped Cargill over the ropes, but the momentum continued to shift as Cargill tripped her and Bliss knocked her off the apron.
Cargill then pulled Jayne back into the fight and sent her into Bliss before landing a side slam on Jayne. The sequence established an early pattern for the qualifier: no one could hold control for long, and every exchange left another wrestler in position to strike.
During the match’s break, Cargill continued to use her power advantage, pinning Jayne in the corner with her boot and catching Bliss for a fallaway slam. Jayne found her own response by taking Cargill down and hitting a senton on Bliss, keeping the contest from becoming a straight showcase of Cargill’s strength.
Cargill and Bliss Come Close to Victory
As the match progressed, all three women created legitimate finishing opportunities. Jayne and Bliss battled in the ring before Jayne placed Bliss on the turnbuckle. Cargill interrupted with a superplex, then covered both opponents, but neither pin attempt ended the bout.
Cargill followed with a corner splash on both Jayne and Bliss. Bliss fought back by taking Jayne down and kicking her out of the ring, clearing space for a cannonball from the apron. That burst of offense put Bliss in a position to build momentum, although Jayne soon recovered enough to shove Cargill into the steps and land a running knee on Bliss.
Bliss later sent Jayne into the turnbuckle and climbed for Twisted Bliss. Jayne rolled away before Bliss could connect, forcing Bliss to adapt in mid-match. Bliss turned her attention outside the ring and landed a crossbody onto both Jayne and Cargill.
The biggest near fall involving Jayne came when Bliss connected with Sister Abigail. Bliss appeared to have Jayne defeated, but Cargill pulled the referee out of the ring before a three-count could be completed. The interruption denied Bliss what may have been the clearest path to victory in the match.
Bliss responded by attacking Cargill and setting her up for another Sister Abigail. Cargill escaped that attempt and powered Bliss into Jaded. At that moment, Cargill had seemingly done everything necessary to win the qualifier. Bliss was down, and Cargill had just delivered her signature finishing move.
Jayne had other plans.
The Decisive Finish
Before Cargill could capitalize on Jaded, Jayne struck her with a big boot to the head. With Cargill removed from the immediate equation, Jayne covered Bliss and took the pinfall victory.
The finish was a textbook example of Jayne making the most of a Triple Threat environment. Cargill delivered the move that put Bliss down, but Jayne ensured that Cargill would not get the credit or the Money in the Bank berth. Jayne’s final strike on Cargill was brief, but it was enough to create the opening she needed.

Ruca and Vice each arrived through qualification with their own momentum, while Jayne enters after proving she can navigate a match built around divided attention, sudden swings, and split-second decisions.
Women’s Money in the Bank Field Takes Shape
Money in the Bank is a match where timing can matter as much as raw athletic ability. The winner must overcome multiple opponents, climb a ladder, and retrieve the briefcase that guarantees a future championship opportunity. Jayne’s SmackDown victory did not take place in a ladder match, but it showed the type of awareness that can be essential once the field is complete.
Jayne did not dominate Cargill or Bliss from start to finish. She endured punishment from Cargill, escaped Bliss’s attempts to finish her, and remained alert after Cargill’s Jaded changed the match. Her ability to identify the final opening was the difference between leaving SmackDown with a major opportunity and watching one of her opponents advance instead.

Trick Williams Also Qualifies on SmackDown
The women’s qualifier was not the only Money in the Bank development on SmackDown. Earlier in the show, Trick Williams qualified for the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Williams joins Bron Breakker and Je’Von Evans among the men already confirmed for that bout. His qualification adds another notable name to the men’s field as WWE continues to build both Money in the Bank matches through the qualification process.

SmackDown therefore produced key movement in both divisions. Williams advanced on the men’s side, while Jayne emerged from one of the night’s most competitive matches to claim a women’s berth.

Jayne’s boast from the announce table came early in the match, before Bliss sent her into the table. By the end of the night, however, Jayne had a result to support her confidence. She outlasted two established threats, avoided being pinned after several momentum swings, and capitalized at the exact moment Cargill and Bliss left an opening.
Cargill will have reason to be frustrated after executing Jaded only to have Jayne take the victory away from her. Bliss, meanwhile, had Jayne in serious trouble with Sister Abigail before Cargill intervened and was then pinned after absorbing Jaded. Neither wrestler advanced, despite each coming close on multiple occasions.
Jayne will not need style points when the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match arrives. The briefcase goes to the competitor who retrieves it, regardless of how they get there. Her SmackDown qualifier made clear that Jayne is comfortable operating in chaos, and she has now earned the chance to turn that opportunism into the biggest victory of her career.
