Eva Marie is not ruling out another run in professional wrestling, but she has made clear that returning would take far more than a standard invitation.

The former WWE star, who has been away from the industry since her second stint with the company ended in 2021, discussed what it would take for her to step back into the ring or return to wrestling television. Her answer centered on two major factors: a significant financial offer and the ability to contribute to the direction of her character.

Known as “All Red Everything” during her WWE career, Eva Marie said a potential comeback would need to be approached with care rather than as a one-off appearance without a clear plan. She emphasized that the offer would have to be substantial and that the creative side of the opportunity would matter just as much as the money.

“It would have to be done so good,” Eva Marie said. “If I were to do something like that, the offer would have to be incredibly good. There’s got to be a lot of zeros.”

Eva Marie’s comments do not confirm that a return is currently in motion. She did not announce talks with WWE, identify another promotion as a possible destination, or give a timetable for a comeback. Instead, she outlined the conditions she believes would make a return worthwhile after several years away from active wrestling.

Creative control is central to Eva Marie’s thinking

Beyond compensation, Eva Marie pointed to creative control as a key part of any future agreement. She said she has learned through her work in the business that having a stronger voice in presentation and storytelling can make a considerable difference for a performer.

“It would have to make sense where I would have some type of creative control, because that’s what I have learned in doing the business,” she said.

For Eva Marie, the issue is not simply choosing opponents or determining wins and losses. Her remarks focused on the broader importance of a character having a coherent direction, a storyline that gives the audience something to invest in, and a payoff that rewards the work put into the angle.

She explained that many WWE performers do not have that degree of authority over their creative presentation. In that environment, talent often depend on writers and the wider creative process to provide material that fits their personalities and gives their characters momentum.

“It helps a lot if you’re able to have a lot more input,” Eva Marie said. “A lot of us that are in WWE don’t have that. You’re basically hoping that the writers help you to the fullest and make a storyline that is juicy and good, and then you get a payoff.”

She added that the opposite situation can affect the character as well as the performer behind it.

“If you don’t get that, then it kind of sucks for your character too,” she said.

Those comments reflect a familiar subject across wrestling: the balance between company-controlled creative direction and a talent’s desire to shape their own persona. WWE has long operated with a structured creative system, though the level of influence available to individual wrestlers can vary widely depending on their role, experience, and current position on television.

Eva Marie’s position is straightforward. If she is to return, she does not want to do so merely to occupy a spot on a roster. She wants the opportunity to be financially compensated at a level she considers worthwhile while also having meaningful input into a character and story that can succeed.

Her WWE history and time away

Eva Marie first became known to WWE audiences during her original run with the company, where her presentation and high-profile “All Red Everything” persona made her a distinctive presence. Her career included appearances across WWE programming and periods in which her character drew strong reactions from viewers.

She later returned for a second WWE stint, but that run came to an end in 2021. Since then, Eva Marie has remained inactive in the wrestling industry. Her latest comments make clear that inactivity should not necessarily be interpreted as a permanent retirement announcement.

In November 2025, Eva Marie stated that she would always keep the door open for WWE. That left the possibility of a future reunion on the table, even if there has been no announcement that one is imminent. Her new remarks add more definition to that openness: the door may be open, but the circumstances would have to meet a high threshold.

That is an important distinction. Saying that a return is possible is not the same as saying that one is being planned. At present, Eva Marie has only described what she would need to consider another wrestling opportunity. There is no confirmation of a proposed match, a storyline, a contract, or an appearance.

A return would need a clear purpose

Eva Marie’s emphasis on presentation suggests that a satisfying comeback, in her view, would require a defined creative purpose. A surprise appearance can generate attention in the short term, but sustained value usually depends on what follows: a character direction, a rivalry, and an angle with enough structure to give the audience a reason to continue watching.

Her comments about a “juicy and good” storyline underline that point. A wrestler’s character can be affected when creative plans are unclear, when a storyline ends without a resolution, or when a performer is not given a meaningful role after returning. Eva Marie said she would want input because she believes it improves the odds of putting together something that works.

For WWE, a hypothetical Eva Marie return would also need to fit into the company’s existing women’s division and programming priorities at that time. The company’s roster evolves continuously, and any returning talent would need a role that serves both the performer and the larger television product. Eva Marie did not identify what type of feud, brand, or character approach she would prefer, so those details remain unknown.

It is also unclear what “some type of creative control” would look like in practice. The term can encompass many levels of involvement, from consultation on character presentation and promos to a stronger role in developing story ideas. Eva Marie did not lay out a specific contractual arrangement. What she did say is that having more input would be important to her decision.

No comeback announcement, but an open possibility

Eva Marie’s latest remarks keep the conversation around a possible wrestling return alive without creating an expectation that one is guaranteed. She remains open to the idea, as she indicated in 2025, but is placing clear value on both the business and creative aspects of a deal.

The financial component is direct: any offer would need “a lot of zeros.” The creative component is equally direct: she would want a voice in shaping the role she is being asked to play. Together, those requirements show that Eva Marie would view a return as a serious professional commitment rather than a nostalgia-driven cameo.

For now, Eva Marie remains out of wrestling, and there is no confirmed next step. But she has not closed the WWE door. If the right opportunity arrives, with the right financial terms and a creative plan she believes in, “All Red Everything” has left room for another chapter.
