Chicago Style Wrestling brought CSW Under Pressure to the American Legion in Franklin Park, Illinois, on September 11. The event aired on IWTV and featured a card built around four championship bouts, a multi-person scramble, tag team competition, and a notable match between WARHORSE and Victor Analog that ended without a winner.

The promotion’s titleholders successfully navigated the night. Solomon Tupu retained the CSW Championship against Rafael Quintero in the main championship match, while Shazza McKenzie, Hans Carden, and the Machine 17 tandem of KJ Carter and Nathan Nile also left Under Pressure with their respective titles intact.

While the championship picture remained unchanged by the end of the event, Under Pressure included a variety of match formats and a broad collection of competitors from across the CSW roster. The card opened with a scramble involving five wrestlers, featured a three-way tag team contest, and gave the women’s division a three-way championship match.

Joey Pierson wins the opening scramble

Joey Pierson emerged victorious in the opening scramble match, defeating John Bonhart, FXB, Daddy Andy, and Brian Gorta. With five wrestlers involved, the opening contest immediately established the event’s competitive pace and gave each participant an opportunity to make an impression.

Pierson’s win was the first official result of the night. In a scramble setting, a single winner must outlast multiple opponents and capitalize on the rapidly changing circumstances that come with several wrestlers sharing the ring. Pierson did exactly that, adding a notable victory over a diverse field that included Bonhart, FXB, Daddy Andy, and Gorta.

The result did not involve a championship, but it put Pierson in the winner’s column on a card where title matches would later dominate the discussion.

The Made Men prevail in three-team action

The Made Men — Marshe Rockett, Steve Boz, and Erik Surge — defeated the combination of Valor And Grayson and Bruss Hamilton in a three-team match. Jack Valor and Eddie Grayson represented Valor And Grayson, while Hamilton competed alongside the duo as the third side in the bout.

The Made Men’s lineup brought together Rockett, Boz, and Surge for a significant win against two opposing units. Three-team matches place a premium on awareness, as wrestlers must account for multiple sets of opponents and shifting alliances or opportunities during the contest. The Made Men ultimately came through to secure the result.

For Valor, Grayson, and Hamilton, the loss prevented them from building momentum on the Under Pressure card. For Rockett, Boz, and Surge, the victory gave their group one of the event’s clearest non-title successes.

WARHORSE vs. Victor Analog ends in no-contest

WARHORSE and Victor Analog did not receive a decisive finish at Under Pressure. Their match was ruled a no-contest after Analog faked an injury.

The no-contest means neither WARHORSE nor Analog was credited with a win or a loss in the official result. Instead, the finish centered on Analog’s actions, bringing the bout to an end before either wrestler could claim a conclusive victory.

It was the only match on the show to end without a winner. The result also separated the contest from the rest of the card, where every other scheduled bout produced a clear victor and, in the championship matches, a confirmed successful defense.

Hans Carden keeps the Metra Division Championship

Hans Carden retained the CSW Metra Division Championship against Jay Marston. Carden entered Under Pressure as champion and remained champion following his meeting with Marston.

The Metra Division title was the first of four championships defended on the card. Marston challenged for the belt but was unable to take it from Carden, who added another successful defense to his reign.

Carden’s victory maintained the status quo at the top of the Metra Division. The event did not produce a title change in this match, leaving the championship with its established holder after Marston’s challenge came up short.

Shazza McKenzie survives a three-way title defense

Shazza McKenzie retained the CSW Women’s Championship in a three-way match against Sofia Sivan and Haven Harris. McKenzie entered as the reigning champion and defeated both challengers to keep the title.

A three-way championship match presents a different test than a traditional singles defense. The champion must contend with two challengers, while the challengers must also navigate one another in their effort to win the title. McKenzie was able to overcome that format and leave Franklin Park with the Women’s Championship still around her waist.

Sivan and Harris both fell short in their bids to become champion. McKenzie’s result was one of the night’s key title defenses and ensured that the women’s championship did not change hands at Under Pressure.

Machine 17 retain the CSW Tag Team Championships

Machine 17, the team of KJ Carter and Nathan Nile, successfully defended the CSW Tag Team Championships against AMB and Shain Boucher. Carter and Nile entered the event as champions and defeated their challengers to continue their reign.

The tag title match gave AMB and Boucher an opportunity to take the championships from Machine 17, but the reigning duo protected their position. Their victory was another important piece of a card defined by champions holding on to their belts.

With the win, Carter and Nile remained the CSW Tag Team Champions at the close of the show. AMB and Boucher were unable to convert their challenge into a championship change, leaving the division’s title picture intact.

Axel Rico and Maggie Lee score a mixed-tag victory

In mixed-tag action, Axel Rico and Maggie Lee defeated Eric Schultz and Blair Onyx. The match provided another showcase for four competitors outside of the night’s championship bouts.

Rico and Lee earned the victory as a team over Schultz and Onyx, giving them a decisive result on a card that included several multi-person contests. Their win also followed the no-contest between WARHORSE and Victor Analog, restoring a run of definitive outcomes before the CSW Championship match closed the listed results.

Schultz and Onyx were unable to secure the win, while Rico and Lee left the event having successfully teamed together against their opponents.

Solomon Tupu retains the CSW Championship

The CSW Championship was defended by Solomon Tupu against Rafael Quintero. Tupu retained the title, defeating Quintero to remain the promotion’s champion following Under Pressure.

Quintero entered the match with the chance to capture the CSW Championship, but Tupu turned back the challenge. The result completed a night in which all four of the championships defended remained with their reigning holders.

Tupu’s successful defense was the final championship result of the event and underscored the consistency of the card’s title picture. Carden retained the Metra Division Championship, McKenzie retained the Women’s Championship, Machine 17 retained the Tag Team Championships, and Tupu retained the CSW Championship.

Chicago Style Wrestling’s September 11 event therefore ended without a new champion being crowned. The winners’ list included Joey Pierson, The Made Men, Axel Rico and Maggie Lee, along with each of the reigning champions who put their titles on the line. The one exception to a standard win-or-loss outcome was the WARHORSE vs. Victor Analog match, which went to a no-contest after Analog faked an injury.
